Purchasing emergency services rolling stock equipment

Ordinance #11-28-17: An Ordinance authorizing the execution of an Equipment Lease-Purchase Agreement in an amount not exceeding $500,000 relating to the purchase of certain equipment by Newberry County, authorizing the execution of other necessary documents and papers, and other matters relating thereto.

This ordinance continues the county’s annual program of purchasing emergency services rolling stock equipment (fire trucks, ambulances, rescue trucks, etc.), which has been in place since 2010.  Purchases budgeted for the current fiscal year: one pickup truck for rescue squad use, a pumper-tanker truck for fire department use, an ambulance re-mount for use by EMS.
